- Canadian Bred Mare Rules One of the many ways the Clydesdale Horse Association of Canada works to promote the breed is through the continued support of breed shows and classes, including the Canadian Bred Mare Class. Quality dams are the foundation of the national herd, and the class is held at seven shows across Canada to promote, and recognize the country’s best mares.Pictured here is our 2023 Canadian Clydesdale Queen - Tayvia Newton with our Vice President Delvin Szumutku at this year's Royal Manitoba Winter Fair in Brandon. This is the same location for the 2023 World Clydesdale Show which takes place on July 19-23rd at the Keystone Centre. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
